Reholdered some of my Bust Halves (Thanks NGC!)-Coin Porn inside!

22 posts in this topic

New pics of previously posted coins. I can see (and Photograph) coins in these new edge view holders so much easier than in the older holders, especially since many were a bit scuffed. Let the light in!

If you don't mine me asking, what type of camera did you use on those photos? They are really nice and crisp. I've been using my iPad as it has a nice zoom feature, also have a couple 15 megapixel digitals that just don't look as good as yours. Any tips? Lighting? Photoshop? Thanks BruceS (thumbs u

Thanks guys!

BruceS all I am using is a Kodak 5X zoom digital camera and a steady hand. Takes practice.

I have more sent out, but it will be a bit before they are back. I am updating photos in my registry as well, since they now allow larger pics than when I started my sets.

May post some other re-photos at some point here as well...

ngc did a superb (worship) job and the white holder really offsets and highlights the coins nicely and i bet in hand sight seen it is even more visually fantastic!!

I know there are those who would want more apparent luster from an AU-53 grade, but to find a better strike on an '08 is like finding a needle in a stack of needles.
