Howdy Bill! Good thing I was sitting down when I noticed that you posted a thread. Welcome to the boards and don't be afraid to start riveting threads. Our signal-to-noise ratio is higher, I think, but the signal is definitely several orders of magnitude weaker.

My roosie set is really progressing. This may offend some, but it is "by far" the best toned set in existence -- that comes from Nick Cascio and Craig. I'll be at Fun and will be showing off some cool stuff.....I've also been working a Merc short set very hard...now up to an all-rainbow MS 67.4 set....if I remember, you like rainbow Mercs....we need to hook up.

Sorry, I ain't the one to talk about FB/FT roosies....I hate the concept. I love color, color, rainbow color, and stooooopid rainbow color!!!! Little metal indentations cannot compare to explosive eye appeal!!! Now, that varlet Onlyroosies has made enough money on FB dimes to buy a castle in San Diego...He ought to pimp FBs not me!

FUN should be a "hoot." Onlyroosies and Colorful coins will be there as will Greattoning. Lots of rainbow addicts. Remember, show is Ft Lauderdale this year, providing the storm doesn't level the city!!! Keep this in mind and we'll get as many together as we can (breakfast/lunch?)to show off some cool toners!

As Hoot knows I'm not much of a fan of the designations either...on ANY issue. You will fit in well here.

 

And that comment about "vanilla" topics. No way! I get much more info and we have far more intelligent conversations here than over at PCGS. The expertise here is far superior, IMO. With Tom, Wihloborg, Truthteller, Evil Marguli, TDN, EVP, Braddick and Hoot it's not even close.

Bill - I'm also a great fan of great toning! I sincerely look forward to what you have to show us. Are you a member of the new club for toned coins?

 

My album collection of Roosies is fun due to the color. They seem to have soaked up some rainbows!
