Bob Green has offered to buy back the coin. I think he is a "Stand-UP" Dealer. Was a case of a New Dealer misunderstanding terms of this sale. Now we can put this matter to rest.

Actually, I think what Bob has agreed to do is to go to the original owner and see if he will accept a return. The coin was on consignment and Bob committed to buying it only when RKKay committed to buying it. He could never simply "buy it back" without being damaged.

 

You are correct about it simply being a misunderstanding between two dealers about the terms of a transaction.

It is good to hear that the dealers have setteled the dispute. But I don't think this should have been put on the boards in the first place. It is like airing your dirty laundry!
