A good source for quality flips?

3 posts in this topic

Can anyone recommend some high quality "flips" for coins? Would prefer some that come with the paper insert for labeling. I'm not a big fan of 2X2's, and the plastic flips seem best for my interests. Is there a certain brand that is the best, as in not harmful to the coin over extended periods? Also, who sells them? Thanks....

I believe when I have bought flips they were the Saf-T-Flip brand and you can find these at most coin shops. These are one brand that do not contain PVC.

Thanks Tom. You ever heard of "Collector Safe" flips? They are PVC free. I wonder if there is all that much difference in the different brands. I guess being PVC free is the most important thing. I searched the web, and couldn't find anything on Saf-T-flips. I'll have to order them from someone, our local coin shop is rather lacking in most areas. tonofbricks.gif You would think a city of 200,000 would have more then 1 coin shop.
