help on 1943-D walker with rpm

hi,

 

I just found a VG 1943 walking liberty half in change (!), and it seems to have a D/D repunched mintmark. I don't know much about these coins, and I was wondering if this is a known variety. Does anyone have an idea of rarity/value for this coin? thanks!

I think it is far more surprising that you found one in change than worrying about some rpm. grin.gif

 

Back when I was doing odd jobs before college I worked in a pizza parlor that had video games and the like. Kids used to come in spending their dad's coin collection money to play Pacman 893whatthe.gif The smarter ones would try to sell them to us to get more money to play. I did that a few times until I figured out where the brats were getting their coins. 893naughty-thumb.gif
