Coins To Comics

8 posts in this topic

hey dont listen to the comics guys! They like to start stuff here when they get bored. blush.gif Still plenty of coin folks here, and growing all the time. I dont know about die hard coin guys, you can take a look across the street at the PCGS boards. There are a lot more people that post there, the threads move pretty fast, but there is a lot of fluff in between the content as well.

Anyway, glad to have you here! smile.gif

Welcome.

I am also a die-hard coin collector. I would never switch to comics. What's the point of collecting paper? I guess I shouldn't be trashing comics. There are alot of things that would make collecting coins senseless. Anyway, welcome! It's good to see new people here. smile.gif

Jeh, What in God's name are you talking about? Why are you fronting for your Coinee bretheren? You spend FAR more time on the Comic Forums than here. You know it, I know it, and now EVERYBODY knows that you turned "injun" (like Kevin Costner in "Dances with Squirrels") many moons ago. You even took a squaw, Joanna, the only female poster on the comic forums currently. We had a big tribal ceremony! Stop fronting!

I started with coins, then comics, but lately I've switched back to coins big time. The problem with comics is you can't read the damn things. I have a NM copy of ASM #50 (for all you coin guys that is a really cool comic to have) and I am afraid to even touch it for fear of leaving a tick or smudge or something.

I love collecting Comics, especially Archie comics from the 50s and early 60s!!!! I have one graded and three others sent in for grading....I love all the differen't covers and different fifties themes on them. I also collect Golden and Silver age Superheros and just got my first CGC graded Wonder Woman...... Life is great!
