1893 Columbus Exhibition Half Dollar in grade MS-64

 

I am currently looking at this coin on an auction site and I am unsure if its actually worth what theyre asking,any advice?

Tamm, I checked the NGC value price guide and it was listed for $120. You could get it as low as $85 if there are no other bidders but a challenge will surely raise the bids. If the coin is very nice and in a old holder that would make a huge difference as the MS65 has a value of over $450. A well toned piece would also garner a premium.

Heritage sold four NGC MS64's in a December auction,plus several PCGS MS64's. The only one that went for over $84 including buyers premium was in a PCGS old green holder at $94.

 

Unless it's exceptional, I wouldn't go above $75.
