I'll just plead that my head hurts after reading this thread. meh

 

To me this isn't a big deal...it's simple. If there is a coin I see online and it's got a reasonable photograph and it's someone I know selling I probably wouldn't have a problem buying it without a return policy. Cost...or rather any premium I might pay might be a factor as well since the photo may not be good enough to show that.

 

Otherwise, I'd just pass. It isn't a reflection on the seller. It just isn't something I'd take a risk on most of the time.
