Old DMPL Updated with Photo

I would say no due to the wear associated with a low grades Morgan. All of the luster and any mirrioed surface would have been worn off on a low grade example unless the coin has been polished.

A shiny coin with a loss of a lot of the detail is a sure sign of cleaning. That's not to say that a weekly struck Morgan couldn't be lusterous with some details not visable, but it wouldn't look low grade just not fully struck.

Are the divices shiny like the fields????

Your coin has been polished and, as such, is a damaged coin. There would be no designation of DMPL on the coin since any coin that is polished can be made to have mirror-like qualities. It looks to be an 1889, so unless it's an 1889-CC, it would be worth only bullion to most people.
