1960 proof sets

Can you tell me how to examine for a small date 1960 proof set vs a regular 1960 proof set.

This is not exactly a conservation question, but one I might be able to answer.

 

The easiest way for me to tell the difference is to compare the bottom part of the 6 in relation to the 0. On the small date, the bottom part of the 6 is roughly the same size as the 0 and on the large date, the bottom part of the 6 is at about the half way point of the 0. The Redbook has good photos of each variety.
