potato starch

6 posts in this topic

A lot of these toned Morgans look like they've been dipped in a solution of potato starch and then dipped in iodine. Remember grade school chemistry, how you could turn things purple/brown that way?

What do you think?

Because I just DON'T believe a lot of these colors (in third party holders) are naturally acquired.

Purple or deep violet without any other rainbow colors present is a red flag. I've seen potato AT before, it's not a pretty sight. 893whatthe.gif

If your colors on the photo are accurate, appears 100% real color. Sea foam green is almost impossible to duplicate by artificial toning. In addition, the colors are a pleasing blue and magenta. Remember, purple and violet are the red flags.
