18 pc comm. sets sold at silver town

 

I have been eyeing a 18 pc set of comm. 50 cent coins, All NGC graded ms 69. long story short I was about to place the order last night at a cost of $899.95 plus shipping. I made a list of all the coins in the set and went to NGC's price guide and looked up the prices for each coin. It came to $719.80 and as I said they wanted $899.95 for the set. I quickly changed my mind on this purchace and am setting on the money for a better deal.

I guess the morale of this story is check NGC fmv before you buy. I know there are times that being backward on a coin is worth it to complete a set but this was a little to much for my blood....
