Highest bid for a coin ever seen on ebay

I think someone on the CU forums pointed out an auction for a 1990s cent that was auctioning at $1,000,000. I went to the link and the penny was claimed to be steel and the picture showed a cent that looked like a mix of steel in some areas and copper in others, like swirled, slightly mixed paint.

 

Don't think it sold!

I did see an auction for a complete (or nearly complete) run of $20 gold pieces...I don't remember which series though. I believe it was listed at $4.2 million or so. No bids.

I remember when some of the Jack Lee collection went up for sale...... like $180,000 with bids..... I am sure there is higher.. but this had bids.... 3 coins I think..
