Thanks! Since it is a fatty and from the number on it, I suspect is is a 2.1 gold embossed NGC holder. I like it!

That dime is interesting - I have seen other years/mints with the field polished PL in front of the eyes- was this to remove die clash leaves? or anyone got any better ideas why?

 

I have to think that dime will be killer cool when you get it.

Those areas of reflective luster are usually the last remnants of a die that was polished all-over and has since become frosty.
