Honestly? This guy has been playing with his microscope too hard, he needs to take a break.

 

Brett (Franklinlover) is a poster on these boards and one of the leading Franklin Variety experts. The QDO is a very nice FS-101 variety featured in the Cherrypicker's Guide.

 

I cannot tell if the original coin in this thread is a QDO.

With a mintage of 51,386 and 7 different DDOs listed on the referenced franklinlover site, I'd have to think that it's not a matter of whether or not the obverse is doubled, it's a matter of which doubled obverse it is. Sort of like the reverses of the Minnesota quarters.
