$ 5 Indians MS 63

Wow I just looked at the prices of the $5 gold MS 63 Indians – Prices have tanked big time. Obviously I have not been paying attention over the last year. Looks like Prices on $2.5 Indians are also soft but not as bad. What is going on here ??

The market is now flooded with them, whereas they were being scooped up and hoarded off the market for about 2 years after 2008. The same goes for MS63 Libertys.

I just bought two CAC examples, because they were nice looking coins and I like the current price level.

I noticed that $2.5 Indians in MS63 are going around $700...I'm not entirely certain but that seems awful LOW.....

Kind of interesting to look at Coin World's retail prices for common G$2.50 Indians over the last few years. Here they are for 6 years with the dates of changes included. We're at the lowest level since Feb. '03!
