That is sooooo frickin' cool! Is there a way that you might superimpose the overstruck outline onto the existing coin so that it would be easier to appreciate in an image?

Is that coin plugged? The central spot on the reverse makes it look like it is, but that's very likely a photo or toning anomaly. Just thought I'd ask.

In answer to Hoot's question, the coin is not plugged. You'll find some more information on this unique coin on page 199 of QDB's two-volume silver dollar encyclopedia.
