Interesting Q&A across the street

3 posts in this topic

I'm not sure why this Q&A brought back this memory, here is the Q&AQuestion and Answer. . perhaps it was the following line "As for the jerks...hey, we all know who they are."

And here is the memory:

There was this guy in our neighborhood who was always drunk, yelled at his kids, drop kicked his cat. I mean... middle of the night, wake up the neighbors type of stuff.

One Holloween we went trick or treating, one of my friends went as Fred Flintstone. We went to the neighbors house and he asked my friend:

"Who Are you suppose to be?

to which my friend, dressed as Fred Flintstone answered:

"A Mirror"

I'm not sure why the words "As for the jerks...hey, we all know who they are." would bring up a memory like that, maybe it had something with a mirror?

This particular quote is revealing:

The broken records don't really bother me. After a while you just tune them out.

So what he is saying, apparently, is that if there are enough complaints about the same problems he tunes them out and doesn't listen? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Why am I not shocked?
