Oh drat. I couldn't decide. Do you want me to delete two of them? Which two? (Don't say 1814.)

Yes, your 1815 large cent :D

How about your 1815 bust half?

The one I own, or the one I wanted but the second mortgage fell through?

The 1815 large cent is in the SDB. I'll image it later.

Here's the XF45 CBH. I'm pretty sure it's authentic too.

Stalled? No one has an 1816?

I have a VF cent but surely someone can do better.

Lance.

It seems it has stalled out. I'm waiting for 1818 and 1821. :insane:

My 1816 bust half is in the bank and I haven't photographed it ;)

I'd really like to see that - I will guarantee you its counterfeit ;)

No Bust Halves were minted in 1816 - or any other denomination except large cent. There was a fire at the US mint in 1815, which shut down operations until the building could be restored.

That caught my attention too. Ankur, are you sure it isn't an 1826 that you have?

I think he was referring to the 1815 he wants lance to sell him. That is the one at the bank. Typo?

AnkurJ,

You started this thread. How about you make an exception to skip the 1816 mint year. This thread is going nowhere.

Outstanding 1819! Tres bueno!

Here's an 1820 I bought from Sheridan Downey, part of the Roger Solomon selected rarities.

I like the sunburst rim toning over flashy, clean surfaces, and strong luster. An EDS, with full denticles.

Lance.
