Why do dealers put coins not for sale out?

I haven't read all the responses.

 

IMO looking for a Newb (Fish) with zero knowledge in the hobby or someone with "Big Pockets" who doesn't care where his/her money goes.

 

I have seen too many of these on eBay.

 

It's a shame really because quite a few are knowledgeable Numismatist who do this and instead of helping young Numismatist they want to put the screws to them.
