Military Payment Bill?

It's not from France or Italy (I have some examples of those). I don't think that it is the Philipines, either since it is 10 cents and not 10 centavos. I'm curious now. Be sure to follow up on the thread and let us know its history.

This MPC was used by US Armed Forces in the early 50's in foreign countries. Germany, Japan, etc. I left Japan in 1953 and it was still in use then.The Military would normaly change the certificates every three or four years.

Your note is Series 481, issued 6/20/51 and withdrawn 5/25/54. It was used in about a dozen countries in Europe and Asia. A total of 23,064,000 10-cent notes was printed.
