Why would anybody want this coin based on the pics??

Well, if the coin is real, it's really cheap at $227 although the reserve is yet to be met.

 

I'd be more concerned about the fact that its raw. There are so many bad 1909-S-VDB coins around, that I image more of them exist today thant there were in 1909.

 

And yea, it's got green toning, but that can be fixed 893scratchchin-thumb.gif And as for the word "Gorgeous" ebay sellers can be expected to make embellishments. tongue.gif

I am not saying the price is bad.. but just for the fact it has a reserve.... I am guessing it is over $500.00 and with those pictures I would not bid on it... The back worries me... and well so does the front... with those pics...
