Hey MrDan---

Welcome to "sleepy hollow" as we are occasionally referred to! We are a fairly tight-knit group here and I'm sure you'll find us quite friendly! Did you come from the CU boards or Coin Talk?

Welcome to our friendly little neighborhood, Dan! Let us know about your collecting preferences, and don't let the crazy people (like me) bother you. We're harmless.

Well, I would say any old stuff is neat. But, my wife's family tree brings us to a fellow, (US Treasurer back in the 1800's named Salmon P Chase) who was responsible (or at least played a key role therein) for the placement of "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our currency. His face is on the first $1 bill. So I am collecting this realm of stuff in hopes that one day I can put a shadow-box together for my wife that goes into Salmon P Chase and his history. ( I think it would be just nifty ) I do collect pretty much any old and good grade coins. wink.gif
