Ok, I got this at a grocery store as i was trying to win some rare coins in a machine *People must not know what they have, spent $15 trying to get them* and i pull out this quarter i just get, and when i took a look at the back, i saw pink. I didnt know what this was, because ive never seen a quarter like this before. Maybe you guys could help me out. The front is normal, but the back has pink on and around the Eagle. Ill see if i can get some pictures of it.

Might it just be fingernail polish. Up until the mid '80's or so it was common practice for bar owners to put their own money into jukeboxes to encourage others to do so or to just liven the place up. They would paint the reverse of a coin with fingernail polish and the jukebox owner would return these. Over time the polish wears off the high points first.

As cladking has mentioned, the music box industry painted many coins over the years and, without seeing the coin, I would venture that what you have is a painted quarter.
