Welcome, are you talking about the problem at the 12 o'clock? Hard to see much but I think I see something.

exactly starting at around 10 and going to 12! Like I said, sorry about the bad picture. The coin looks like its been in someones pocket since 1941 but would probably clean up nicely (not by me).

looks nice and corroded... mabye some some acid got on it interesting ...

actually its not corroded. the word states is visible under all the caked on gunk in the depression / missing medal. I would imaging that if it was corroded by acid or something like it, it would have also removed the word states for as deep as it is int the coin.

It is a lamination error.
