Holy COW!!! 893whatthe.gif893whatthe.gif893whatthe.gif

I simply can't believe those prices. Since they are all the same bid right now ($300, next $320), I wonder if someone has bid their own pieces. Must have, don't you think? Nuts. insane.gifinsane.gifinsane.gif

No one paid stupid money for the 46, 75 and 81-P as TT doesn't show that they sold but someone did on the 85-P.

I'll be passing the 81-P up if it comes back up for sale because someone tried to shyster the coin onto someone!

Also, I can't believe someone paid $320 for an '85! I don't care if it's in 66! sign-rantpost.gif

I thought about bidding on a few of these---for about 3 seconds! Just couldn't see paying so much for even these hard-to-get-in-FS Jeffs.

Did you score that '64 proof? It went for only $24. Pretty piece.

Got busy, and didn't log back on till after auction closed! frown.gif But I like those toned cams at that price! Wouldn't have mind adding it to the collection.

I have rolls of FS nickels from mint sets from 1971 and up excluding the tougher dates. Most grade MS64 and lower but try me! I'm very stingy with the exceptional pieces unless the "price is right!" I do know I wouldn't charge $320 for a MS65- 66

And it's here where collecting coins loses all of its true meaning! Who wants to wager it's already in someone's registry set and they haven't even seen it yet?

And could care less, just as long as it enhances the status of his/her name on that website!

These are bad times for the hobby!
