Well, I got my first FL quarters in change today

and they were bad in just about every way they could be bad! The design is just uninspiring, three presumably Florida things just randomly thrown onto the empty space on the back of a quarter. To me, this has to be the worst design yet. And the quality was bad too! They seem scuffed up, with lots of little hairlines on the obverse above Washington's bust, severely poor quality. Oh well, at least the program is more than half over!

It's funny that you should mention that the series is more than half over as that is just what I was thinking the other day and, like you, I was relieved by it.
