2011 Gold MS Lucretia Garfield Struck Thru Error

I just received a 2011 W G$10 Mint State Lucretia Garfield coin from the mint on Friday. It has a area on the right cheek that I think NGC would grade as an obverse struck thru error. I'll post a picture tonight when I get home from work. This is the first error that I have seen on the Gold First Spouse coins. Is this a special coin that I should keep and have graded or should I just send it back and ask for a replacement? Any ideas on value?
