Hello All,

Here is my new fugio just purchased this week, it is currently graded, but I think it could grade higher. Let me know what you think and I'll post the actual grade later.

Thank you all for the comments. http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd469/ebaribault1/20647185o.jpg[/img]]Photobucket http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd469/ebaribault1/20647185r.jpg[/img]]Photobucket

I'm going to guess XF45. This may be way conservative since I can't tell from the pics regarding the luster. Additionally, what may appear as wear may simply be due to the die variety (especially along the obverse legend).

P.S. Nice coin!

Thank You for the comments, I was checking last night and the variety is 11-X

Graded by PCGS at AU55

AU-55 seems a little high to me. The coin would need to have a fair amount of luster show up through the brown surfaces to rate that grade. If it has the luster, the coin is an AU at some level. From the photo it looks like an EF-45 to me, and a very nice example to boot.

Here is an example of a Fugio cent with luster on brownn surfaces. This piece is graded MS-64, brown. It is a variety Newman 8-X, which is Bank of New York hoard variety.
