One Fine NGC DEALER- The Best!! Randy Schultz ERSCOIN

9 posts in this topic

Approximately 2 years ago I started my Modern Commemorative Collection (The Thomas Collection) and Randy Schultz ERSCOIN was the dealer that introduced me to this series and has helped me build a fairly nice collection comprising 128 coins.

We have become good friends and a great mentor. In fact the 1st PF70 in the collection was a gift from him (1986 $5 Liberty). We both served in Viet Nam and have had many discussions about the good and bad of this tragedy.

Last evening I put in a bid for the Viet Nam MS70, a coin with real meaning to me and Randy. Randy sent me the invoice last evening and I almost "wet my pants" when I read it. Randy charged me $6.75 for the coin-Shipping only. This great man would not accept a penny more for the coin. He gave me the coin because of my Viet Nam Service!!!

This kindness is typical of this long-standing NGC Dealer! He's a credit to the profession and a great NGC Dealer!!! I just wanted to share his kindness with you and sure doesn't fit into the mold of a typical dealer (not a slam), just one very 893applaud-thumb.gifhonorable gentleman.

He's one of the top Morgan and Early/Modern Dealer's in the profession and always treats his clients with the upmost respect. His Ebay ID is ERSCOIN.

Nice thread. He seems like an excellent individual, and I'm happy for you that you two know each other.

And, thanks to you and your dealer friend for your service to our country.

I just seen this message and agree this is a great seller. I rarely buy off ebay, but I believe I've had a couple transactions with him. VERY honest, conservative grader from the "old school." He answers any questions promptly and is a great asset to the Numismatic community.

Excellent story Tom. Your Thomas collection is an obvious labor of love. Congrats on it all and kudos to you and Randy Schultz for your services to this country and to each other.

First of all, thank you Tom and thank you Randy for your service. I'm humbled when I contemplate the debt of gratitude we owe all Americans who've worn the uniform with honor.

Second, I've purchased several coins from Randy over the past couple years and concur with Tom's comments. Randy's coins have always been nice, and though I've never met him he seems a very decent fellow.
