Does NGC attribute 1836 3/inverted 3 Half Dimes?

I have one I think. It's the only bust half dime I have. Is it common or uncommon and is it now noted on the holder? It's currently in NGC ms62 slab with no comments.

NGC will do that variety only if it is submitted for our VarietyPlus service. Since your coin is already holdered by NGC, you may submit it for Designation Review to have this variety and the LM number added. DR costs $10, which includes the reholdering fee.

I have a 1831 half dime. What is the best way to tell a variety type? It looks like it has clashed dies.

I guess the Logan-McCloskey book Federal Half Dimes is the book to get. I don't have it. I'm doing Seated Half Dimes first. The 1836 I have was a deal and a "type" coin for me so I don't know much about them.

 

LM book is anywhere from 50 to $100 on the net & or Ebay Scene.
