Gee whiz, closed at just 43 cents! It's going to cost 50 cents to mail, and eBay fees were probably around fifty cents. Think my consignor will be pi$$ed? insane.gif

James I feel your pain.

I once sold a British coin on Ebay for 11 cents. I did charge a dollar to mail it, but I think I still lost a few pennies.

Excellent description, James...

"You know a large cent is in bad shape when it is virtually indistinguishable from a slice of pepperoni. Offered here today is such a coin, the pride of the Chad Riggins Estate of Early Copper and Expired Lunchmeat. This coin, prized by Mr. Riggins for phenomenal detail (though not original detail), exhibits the surface texture and variegated colors of salami, but it smells like summer sausage. Date not guarantee, but I believe it to be 1837, meaning this thing expired about 170 years ago. Offered as-is to the high bidder and lucky "winner", this is the last item for now from the Chad Riggins collection. Good luck! "

blush.gif The "winner" mailed me two dollars along with a note saying how he felt bad that it closed too low. So I included a free SLQ (in low grade)!
