Clogged gutters + leaky basement + beaucoup rain = toner found?

Last weekend, we had rain, and I forgot to clean the gutters. So.... the basement flooded. Oh well! But it did force me to clean up my downstairs office, where I found a couple of coins I must have misplaced quite some time ago! Here's one, a 1962 Franklin proof that I had purchased for my personal collection (and have now just added to inventory). Just wanted to share it, as you don't usually see them this nice. Darn, I wish the other coins I "recovered" would have been this nice! (None were threatened with flood damage, by the way). FYI, it's ANACS PR-65 Cameo, very conservatively graded in my opinion (old ANACS holder). I honestly think it's more like PR-67.

That's a great looking coin, James. Sorry to hear it's for sale! laugh.gif Also sorry to hear about the basement! One of the many projects from hell that can arise from the veritable basements of our lives. Good luck!

Everyone's a comedian. grin.gif

Very sweet coin. I really like the concentric toning and a cameo example, no less. Thanks for sharing.

Stop spying on me. I'm quite suprised you didn't mention the carpenter ants! I got my driveway done to avoid the leak in my basement, I'm getting my bathroom done so I have no more leaky pipes. The one question I do have... How did you get a hold of my wife's Franklin half dollar? I know you wouldn't be going behind my back now..... would you?

I'm not one who likes toned coins but that one looks great!
