100 Greatest Set posted by Texan's Coins

A nice collection.

 

I saw the newest set of 100 Greatest coins and thought that it was referring to classic coins. I read in Numismatic News that it is referring to modern coins. At that point, I thought that it would be a pretty fun set to colelct.

 

Although it still looks like a fun set to collect, I can say that the majority of the coins are way out of my price range. Coin number 2 is the Sacagawea/Washington Mule. I believe 11 known.

 

To anyone that can complete a set, I take my hat off to you. It will be a great set!

I agree with you. I think the challange won't necessarily be the money, but the availability. It will be interesting to find enough people willing to part with their rare coins.
