Hi lanebrad! Trust your first thoughts, I would pass on this one. I'm not an expert but I think PCGS is the only trusted grading co. to grade WTC coins. Also if you come across a PCGS WTC, Make sure it has a numbered grade (NO BU) because I noticed that PCGS BU graded coins has no serial numbers on it and it also has " Collectors Universe" on back.

I took a real quick picture of my with my phone to give you an idea to go from " sorry for the blurs "LOL"

Hi Jimmie,

 

By any chance do you know what criteria PCGS used to prove that the coins were recovered from ground zero...or any members out their who might have info about those SAEs?
