NGC Sending Email When Your Order is Shipped?

This is a nice feature - which would be even better if it was sent right when the package was - since I picked-up this package a couple of days ago.

 

It'd also be great if NGC could email grades when they are done.

Do you know what would be great? If a representative of NGC or ANACS would call to discuss a grade of a coin. Nothing more or less then a, "how are you doing?" "We have graded your coins and we have a couple of questions or a simple explanation to why a coin graded the way it did and so on. A veteran submitter could get this extended token of appreciation of some sort. Well, I'm just ing away here.

When I sent some coins back to be regraded, Rick M called me to discuss them.

 

It happens and you don't have to be a big submitter.

I just found that there was a problem in the emailing system and there were some messages pending that got released after packages shipped. It should be working properly now...Messages should be going out on the day packages are shipped.

Greg is correct when he writes that I had one of the NGC finalizers call me one afternoon to discuss some coin grades. I do not submit many coins per year, as few as one dozen and as many as five dozen to PCGS and NGC combined.

 

NGC had an issue with an MS half cent that I submitted and the finalizer called to talk about the coin with me. He told me what the NGC grade was and how they came to that conclusion. I thought it was very cool since the coin itself was only worth a few hundred dollars.
