We usually can remove unattractive toning from a coin. There are times that toning may not be removed such as cases where severe environmental damage will result or if there is a further problem such as a cleaning where the toning is in some way hiding the problem. When submitting a coin that you wish to have the toning removed from, please complete the NOTES section of the submission form to indicate your wishes to both the evaluators and the conservators.
