Coin in "Quality Control"

I have a coin in Quality Control that is in an NGC holder that I thought had a chance to upgrade. I thought when it was in Quality Control the grade would be listed, or does the grade not get listed until it hits 'Finalized/Imaged/Shipped'

Thanks, I was looking for your original message on the stages of grading but couldn't find it. For some reason I thought the grades were posted in QC.
