From description of lot 1339 in the Superior Santa Clara....Elite... auction:

 

"This coin sits in its luxurious holder from NGC, glittering throughout its admirable breadth and height......."

 

HEY!

 

My NGC coins are just in a white rectangular plastic with clear outsides that you can see the coin through.

 

How come? Or am I just such a Philistine that I do not SEE the 'luxury" of what I have?

Personally, I think you've been cheated.

 

All my NGC coins glitter.

 

They also talk. When I first saw each coin, it called my name and said things like "take me home!" or "buy me!"

 

I've heard that if you ask for the "extra special" submission form, there's a box you can check so they'll put your coins in the "special" slabs. Supposedly, it only costs a few dollars extra.
