Wayte Raymond Half Dollar Albums....

2 posts in this topic

Picked these two up.....

A Walking Liberty and a Frankie Album, they are in very good shape... These are just like the original double mint set holders....

I know most don't feel these will still tone, but I will have fun finding out....

Raw Frankies and Walkers..... I'm looking for you, and of course, you will be in GEM uncirculated when I find you....

Then, get stuck into one of these for years.....

This to me is very much fun...... grin.gif

Those are pretty cool. They appear to be the later style Wayte Raymond holders, I don't see them nearly as much as with the National Coin Albums that Wayte Raymond earlier sold. When encountered, those Popular Coin Albums usually are made for IHCs or Buffs. I think the acid content in those albums is slightly less than the earlier albums, so you might not get them to tone as quickly. Also, it looks as though both albums are used, therefore, much of the sulfur present in the cardboard has likely already leached out.

I say they are cool! smile.gif Have fun with them and let us see what happens. thumbsup2.gif
