Grandma's Stash of Rare coins....

Newspaper lady knows I collect and has mentioned she has a box that belonged to her grandmother. Recently she's been asking more and more and last night decides to get them out and look them up online.

 

She came in today and told me she has a '56 Flyer in this box that looks like new.

 

I told her that the chances of that being real are not very good and offered to look at it for her. She actually got kinda mad at me and told me that it couldn't be fake and has never been cleaned, etc....

 

I convinced her to bring this stash in tomorrow and let me see it. I did tell her one quick way to check out the 56 FE so chances are she is probably at home sulking right now.

 

If she shows up tomorrow, I'll update you on what happened!

This sounds very cool, make certain you can take some pictures of anything that she might have questions about if it is not in your specialty area. In this way you might be able to post them on the boards for us to help. thumbsup2.gif
