Has anyone wondered how the Half dollars and Dollars got into the Penny jar?

 

My mom would save the SBA and Sacagawea dollars along with any kennedy half dollars in the register. When she closed the store the 13 dollars and 21 half dollars were put into the jar. I guess she's really a coin collector at heart

 

All the quarters, dimes, and nickels were placed in the old straw basket by the friendly customers of Country Health.

 

I wish I had a picture of the old straw basket that held all those coins.
