It's time to vote. Coin Tangents? US Coin? It's all the same to me. My opinion is that we need to combine these groups. How about you.

I was going to vote to combine but now I'm too dizzy. Also have to close about 5 extra windows.

Leave them as is. There is enough traffic in both to keep them and they have their distinct reason for being. Personally, I can't stand seeing links to eBay auctions and questions about shipping/PayPal/etc in the coin forum. It dilutes the coin forum. Those posts have their place...in the tangents forum.

I like bitcching in one forum while the other stands for the light humor! It gives members, both old and new, a choice, a different perspective if they choose.

Coin tangents should actually carry a warning message to new members like, 'Beware, hostile members may be posting info you might not like reading! And then have them click on some "I agree" button before entering! 27_laughing.gif27_laughing.gif What a gas!

gosh, what a nightmare. I'm not sure which one to post on. Personally, I think the traffic is light enough on both boards to combine them. Just my humble opinion.

Leave them. The problem is not the existence of two distinct categories but rather an evident lack of brain function resulting in an inability to distinguish tangents from that to which they're tangential.

What we NEED is a "coin radius" category

To discuss reeding.

Maybe riting too.

Or .....orbits...... like when a proof set dime gets randy and begins floating around the holder looking for a pretty coin and finding only the stuff we have seen for the past 50 years.
