One of our (Nevada) local dealers out of Pahrump, had a beautiful Morgan in his case. I asked if I could take a pic of it and he said ..."Sure, and email me copies as I'm thinking of putting it on eBay for sale". So I did. Bill Johnson of Pahrump Coins---eBay seller Hiflyer 002. Didn't ask for a price (sorry!). Here it is.

 

 

Also bought these two tokens/medals. Not sure what they are but they sure are pretty! Only $5 for both! Anybody know what they are and a value for either/both?

Nice coins, sorry I missed the show I spent most of Friday in bed with stomach flu.

 

Edited to add: However Friday night I had one of those nights at the blackjack table where most of the hands were 19,20, or blacjack and even the bust hands got little cards. Fortunately I didn't spend any money on coins so I kept pressing up the bets. Exhaustion finally did me in.

Nice images. That is a pretty good representation of the Morgan, but it was even better in person--extremely vivid. TomB, can you help me out with a better adjective?

You're right, BC. The Morgan was just dripping with "acrylic" colors. Those swivel lamps at the bourse tables was all I had to go with for lighting. Tried to capture them, but too elusive under the conditions.

 

There were so many beautiful Morgans, I'm surprised you remember this specific one, BC! Were you there Friday or Saturday? Took the pics around 4 on Fri.

I was there Friday from around 1:00 to 3:30. As for the coin, it was memorable both for its appearance and for the brief conversation about it I had with Bill. It was also my second favorite coin at the show.
