Total population of surviving 1893-S Morgans?

yes i will start the ball rolling so to speak with my concerted opinion

 

 

i would guesstimate 893scratchchin-thumb.gif that there are at least 5000 1893-s morgans still in existance in all grades and most probably not over 7500 in existance

 

 

and also i will add my opinion in that 95% are below au-55 devil.gif

Wayne Miller reported that 20 BU 1893-S dollars were found in the 1950. Neigher Miller or Breen estimate the surviving population. Looking at the pop reports, there could be as few as 4000 total.
