California Gold Guy's......Help please

I was over a Friends house today and he asked how my coin thingy was going....I said Fine.....He said he had some coins stashed in a box and asked if I would like to look at them.I said sure so he whips out a tin box with a bunch of worn out Buffs and some Indian cents and a couple flying eagles...Not to much to look at but then I saw this.....I don't know ANYTHING about California Gold Dollars or even if it's real so check it out and let me know what you think.
