welcome to the boards

if the slab says UNC details this means the coin is uncirculated (no wear) and the details grade means it had some sort of problem that kept it out of a regular graded holder

details grade could mean many things

for example scratches that are too numerious, harshly cleaned, re-engraved, bent etc.

First of all, Welcome to our friendly little neighborhood!

"UNC details" basically means the coin has no wear from circulation, but suffers other damage not expected of a mint-state coin. For example, it could be dinged, damaged, cleaned, bent, etc.
