The present price for this cent is over $1000 right now. It heads the list of 14 pages of coins. The active prices for any item will not show unless you have registered and paid your $3.95.

If there are people out there that are interested in a particular coin or coins and have not registered to bid, post the page the coin is on and what it is. I'll come back with the present bid amount.

I love these guys' numismatic savvy (emphasis added for kicks): "Here's a fully struck, brick-red Uncirculated example of this rare and valuable Double Die Obverse penny from 1955." I wonder if the grading services are going to start designating cents with the "brick red" color designation? laugh.gif I'll admit, it's descriptive. tonofbricks.gif

"Brick" red? Looks more like "Coal" red. laugh.gif

Hey, pipe, nice to have you on the boards! See you are a "double agent" as am I. (Post both sides of the street).

I've seen you referred to by many different titles. How would you like us to address you over here?

Yes, I'd say a 64 is about right on that buff, due to strike weakness. The photos are so small that it's hard to tell about anything else. Wish I could get a true sense of the color. Overall, a good looking coin as depicted.
