but it does look like a nice original great eye appealling coin

AU-55. Way too much rub to make it into an AU-62 holder.

if it is a proof then it is sure one hell of a weakly struck proof

 

so because of this proof 62 rb

take a look at the diamonds on miss lib and also the first three top feathers of her bonnet

 

and also take a look at the rims at 7-9pm on the obverse

 

 

really weak never seen a proof with all this weakness but might be particular to a 1909

 

need to see this coin sight seen then in two seconds i can tell you for sure

My first inclination was to call this a PR63RB, but the angle that this was taken at doesn't really show mirrors in the fields. But now that you mention it, there is a lot of contrast there.

 

If you don't mind, I'll change my answer to PR63RB.
