Coin Survey for Business Week

7 posts in this topic

Business Week is interested in knowing how the economy is impacting people's collections. They setup a poll with three quick questions and I would greatly appreciate it if you took a moment to give them an answer.

This survey was posted on CoinTalk but Peter said I could also post it here!!

Please take a few minutes and complete the survey!!

I answered yes, yes and no. My sales have and will continue to be a precautionary measure in anticipation of lower prices. But I am not doing this with any of the items that are the hardest to replace.

Voted yes, yes and yes. The caveat is that I am doing so to take advantage of the softer market to upgrade and commented as such. I just bought a 1889 CC PCGS XF40 for $2300. A nice one. Cashback knocked it down to about $2120. Insanity; at least from my non-dealer standpoint.
